7 Quarterbacks

"Michael Vick, Brett Favre, Matt Ryan, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Philip Rivers, and Ben Roethlisberger"

What kind of Quarterbacks do you have if you have these seven QB’s working your team up and down the lines?

Yes you have the ELITE

These are the Quarterbacks that stand out in a crowd, and yes they can be your game players.
Both have Super bowl experience and wins, and sure to be marked for the NFL Hall of Fame players.

THE ELITE

1. Peyton Manning, Indianapolis Colts

Analysis: Ultimate coach on the field, he also processes and executes more information at a high level than anybody who has ever played the game.
Manning is unbelievable and durability second only to Brett Favre. When Peyton is on the field a game is never out of reach or hand, he is a true warrior.

2, Tom Brady, New England

Analysis: Best pocket instincts in the league. Unwavering disciplined in his approach and execution, (Film Study, Weight room, how he plays etc.) He uses tricks of trade very well to manipulate defenses. Brady has the candid ability like Manning to account for last second defensive adjustments. If he does not go down, Brady could lead the Patriots to another Super Bowl, if he remains healthy.

Superstars

These are the Quarterbacks with no holes in their game who have demonstrated and ability to carry their teams. They are a championship ring away from joining Manning and Brady among the elite.

1: Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers

Analysis: Demonstrative, animated, tough, outspoken, fiery and hypercompetitive consistently makes the most of difficult throws in the NFL
Rivers is one of very few quarterbacks that is not afraid to make throws 15-25 yards down field as opposed to slants, check downs, and soft spot zone plays.
Philip could lead his team to a Super Bowl, but he must not get hurt and he must never be afraid of lofting the ball long, because that is Charger football, Air to ground.

2. Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers

Analysis: Best improvisational quarterback in the league. Ben has vastly improved as rhythm and timing passes. He is growing and understands defenses better and uses a lot of hot throws.
He can be a winner, he also must stay healthy and avoid off the field stories.
KNOCKING AT THE DOOR
Quarterbacks with immense talent and potential, but they have not won anything yet. Playoffs will launch them into a new category.

1. Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys

Analysis: Quickest release in the NFL.

He has unparalleled ability to throw from multiple foot platforms, both intermediately and down the field. Romo is an artistic quarterback he has all the shoulder nods, pump fakes, arm angles, you name it Tony has it.
Main problems I see with Tony Romo, is he is sometimes sloppy with the football. He sometimes stays in the pocket to long, giving defense team’s great time to get to him and slam him down.

2. Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons

Analysis: Most dynamic passer as a rookie since Dan Marino, NOW that is saying something. He has the phenomenal instincts for the position. He is also a strong leader. The only negative in Ryan he has not played enough, but will this year as the Falcons emerge as a new team.

REHAB PROJECTS
The quarterback that has been away from the game because of his own doings, and now has to reprove he can and will play. Enough Said….

Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles

Vick who stayed for some time in prison for underwriting a dog fighting crime was released from the Falcons and has now joined some new birds, the Philadelphia Eagles. There are some Eagle fans that are not happy that Vick is on the team, but you always have some that could care less if Charles Manson was playing as long as they are winners who cares.
Vick is not the primary quarterback yet, but who knows what will happen, it is a day by day, game by game trial run.
The chant from unhappy Eagle fans is “Vick is playing, hide you’re Beagle”.

GTO’s (GLAD they are ours)
These or the quarterbacks who are solid, proven winners, but not flashy. They can flat out play and want to WIN.

1 Bret Favre. Minnesota Viking

Analysis: What can you say Brett Favre has played in every game experience, he knows how to read a defenses and can beat you at the last tick of clock/
One problem he is pushing 40 years old in age, and he will be taking some hard licks, because just because his name is Favre does not make him special, he better look out, teams will be coming at him all game long.
Last problem with Favre, I do not believe he can or will play and entire season in Minnesota.

Out of these 7 Quarterbacks, who would you best like leading your team in the long season?

Pete Rose, Michael Vick you Make the Call

Pete Rose no closer to reinstatement to the hall of fame

On Monday, 20 years to the day Pete Rose signed an agreement with Major League Baseball banning him from the sport, he is no closer to being reinstated.

Hank Aaron’s and Mike Schmidt’s comments may be the last talk of Rose entering the Hall of Fame anytime soon, epecially during the reign of Bud Selig, who has a contract as commistioner through 2012.

When contacted, a spokesman for Selig said “ The commissioner stands by his comments to reporters he made during (last months) Hall of Fame weekend, as judge and jury on this Selig said then “I would remind you that Pete Rose admitted to gambling on baseball and agreet to a lifetime ban” He added the case is always under review, but nothing has changed.

Now my question is we all know that Pete Rose was found guilty and banned from Baseball. But if a man that was betting on Baseball can be banned for life, how is it that a dog killer meaning Michael Vick is allowed to return to the NFL?

Rose was a great player when he played with the Cinncinati Red’s baseball team, as a matter of fact he was known as “Charlie Hustle”

Rose never killed anyone, or dogs, he was caught betting on baseball games, and some say throwing games, all I can say is when he was on the field he was trying to win.

All in all he paid his price, now why not let him enter the Hall of Fame, if Vick can return to the NFL, Pete Rose can be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

What do you think? Should Rose be allowed to enter the Hall of Fame?

Here is another question, why can’t Pete Rose return as a coach or manager in MLB?

Remember Vick returns to the Eagles, now determine, betting on baseball and killing animals, which is worse?.

I think Rose needs to have some rights also as a great player years ago, and I believe he has served his time as well as dues.

AGAIN FAVRE?

“NOW YOU HAVE BRETT FAVRE BACK IN THE NFL”

Now we hear the Minnesota Vikings need the help of Brett Favre, and since he retired and was all teary eyed he now is smiling from ear to ear, because another team wants this quarterback is really washed up.

The one time Green Bay Packer great, has been down many roads and went to Super bowls, and has enjoyed the top of life, now he his back in the NFL with a team that says they need him. The Vikings are a team that have always been great, they have had legends on their teams, now they have a old quarterback that will probably go down some where early in the season. He is not a young man anymore, he is older, and just because your name is Brett Favre, and you once were a superstar that does not mean it can happen again.

On Monday night Oct.5 this will be a date that will live in football infamy.

That’s the night the Green Bay Packers play the Minnesota Vikings at the hearing-loss capital of the world, The Metrodome.
That is also the night Brett Favre commits “Cheese head” Treason
.

Favre got what he wanted Tuesday. He got the team he craved, the salary he could live with and the NFC North Division he knows by heart. But the nanosecond he signed that two-year $25 million contract with the Vikings was the nanosecond he burned the last few remaining wooden bridges between him and the Packer fans.

Favre is 39 years old. He turns 40 five days after that Monday night game against the Packers. There are going to be times when he looks every bit of those 39/40 years. But Viking coach Brad Childress who’s no dummy, must think Favre at 40 is better than Sage Rosenfels and Travis Jackson at any age,. Favre is 39 years old. He turns 40 five days after that Monday night game against the Packers. There are going to be times when he looks every bit of those 39/40 years.

But Vikings coach Brad Childress, who's no dummy, must think Favre at 40 is better than Sage Rosenfels and Tarvaris Jackson at any age. If it doesn't work, all it will cost the Vikings is money. They'll still have Plan Sage or Plan Tarvaris to fall back on. And the franchise will pocket whatever percentage it made from all the Favre jersey sales.
This is a win-win-lose situation. It's a win for the Vikings: They get an experienced, Hall of Fame quarterback, who is familiar with the division and intimately familiar with his former franchise, which just so happens to play in that same division. It's a win for Favre: He gets a playoff-caliber team, a potential Hall of Fame running back (Adrian Peterson), a killer offensive line, an offensive system he knows by memory, a speedy X factor in Percy Harvin, a domed stadium in the dead of winter and another chance to play. It's a loss for the Packers, who were hoping Favre would simply go back to Mississippi and stay there.
What amazed me when all time great quarterback Fran Tarkenton expressed disgust by the decision the Vikings went to sign Brett Favre.
In a statement Tarkenton said “I really have no interest in what Brett Favre does. He kind of lost me years ago by retiring and un-retiring and here and there” Tarkenton went on to say “Football was a team sport, isn’t it? It’s not just about the quarterback”
Favre, who first retired in March 2008, came out of retirement and forced the Green Bay Packers -- with whom he had starred for 16 years -- to trade him to the New York Jets in August when the Packers declined to accept his un-retirement.
All I can say is this is going to be another circus and guess who will be leading the parade, that’s right Brett Favre, and I know Vikings fans may be happy now, but wait till his legs give away and he can’t make those dramatic plays as he did when he was younger, you want to hear the boo birds come out, just wait.

Brett should have enjoyed his days living at home in Mississippi, and just forgot about another
NFL team. Now when the Vikings play the Packers, there will be blood on the field.

APJR

Eagles and Vick

"MICHAEL VICK, BAD MOVE PHILLY"
"HIDE YOUR BEAGLE, VICKS IN TOWN"

Well everyone knows now that Michael Vick has signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, now they have disgusted some long time fans that have been backers of this team for years. I mean how you can give a man that shocked dogs, beat them, hung them and tortured them in everyway because they would not perform in a fighting ring.

Now the Eagles have done the unthinkable, signing Michael Vick was their death sentence, the fans are turning in tickets and the protests will be at every game, I hope someone does not shot him, because he has a bull’s-eye on his back.

Put it this way, when Vick was arrested he stood up and read a copy from a transcript, showing no care when he knew he was heading to jail. Now that he has signed with the Eagles he read a transcript again, and in knows one showed remorse of any kind. He is a stone faced cold blooded animal killer, and why most American’s don’t see this is because they think Michael Vick walks on water, well he does not he may drown dogs in water, but he is no saint Michael.

The Eagles have now become the team that America will hate. Vick has turned Philly Green to Philly red blood.

Every time he is on the field he will be booed and hassled and he will crack under the pressure of the crowds. You have to ask yourself how stupid were the Eagles, knowing that this would send their loyal fans through the roof, and getting rid of season tickets on e-bay and Craigs list and other places.

There was Philadelphia with a Baseball team in first place, and now all you hear is Michael Vick, this and Michael Vick that, it is sickening.
Fans have already began the protest, and many fans are not only turning in tickets to Eagle games, they are also boycotting sponsors of the team.

You have to ask yourself what the “Hell” were the Eagles thinking about, I mean there are plenty of young talented quarterbacks out there, why chose a man that has been in prison and one that will cause so much conflict and more so one that will divide the city?

Michael Vick will have all animal lovers down his neck, he will be watched and followed he will be written about for years, and now the Eagles will have to pay the ultimate price, as they will loose sales, they will also find out that when Vick is on the field he is a one man team, he is the show, and that’s all he wants to be.

Sorry Philly, I wish you the best but there will not be a game that I will ever root for you again, and as a fan of a team here in Atlanta I know what Vick did and what he can not do, and that is run a football team.

So Our Atlanta Falcons should destroy the Eagles on December 6, 2009, be there to watch this event happen.

As for as Vick goes, he will play a few downs and you know what after the team realizes that they made the mistake of signing Vick they will find some way to get rid of him, and hope they gain their fans back.

It’s not about COLOR it’s about what he did to animals, and haw he was behind this dog fighting ring, and said he never knew what was going on, sure?

Go ahead BLAST me but I stand on my words, the Eagles will pay, and loose fans and respect.

Thanks

Vick Luxury

Should Michael Vick land in a lap of luxury?

Football season is approaching, and so are the aspects as to where Michael Vick land his playing days and end up with a team that want him.

Could the Steelers be crazy enough to try and use Vick?

I don’t think the Steelers need the aggravation.

Then you have the Patriots, why would a team that has a winning attitude need someone like Vick when they have Brady at QB?
I don’t think the Eagles need him, and as for the Ravens why would they need him?

Ok so the real teams that are no dead yet at looking at Vick could still be the Green Bay Packers and The Carolina Panthers.
M,
So which team will pick up Michael Vick? Despite Tony Dungy, who’s been serving as a personal adviser to Vick, saying Vick’s options are limited, expect it to be a winning team with nothing to lose by sign him.
"I would not like him as my starting quarterback," former Saints and Colts coach Jim Mora said. "But he can be a good backup, and he can be awesome in a Wildcat offense."

As a role player, he's a low-risk addition for a playoff contender. He's likely to end up with one of these six teams:
Favorites
Steelers. It takes a strong organization and leadership group to take the chance, and the Super Bowl champs have both. Mike Tomlin, with his Dungy-like demeanor, is the right coach for Vick.
Patriots. They've made it work with players with checkered pasts before, including Randy Moss. Vick, with his rare running ability, also offers the veteran versatility Bill Belichick loves

SLEEPERS
Eagles. Schematically, it makes sense for Vick to join a team with a rhythmic passing game that he can pick up quickly. There are also Vick's obvious physical similarities to Donovan McNabb.
Ravens. GM Ozzie Newsome and Coach John Harbaugh have already taken Vick's talents into consideration, and offensive coordinator Cam Cameron has the creativity to use Vick wisely

NOT DEAD YET
Packers. The team currently has a backup quarterback battle, and does not have an athlete for special packages. Although he could help the Pack on the field in many ways, they might not want to deal with the off-field distraction.
Panthers. With the rumors heating up, coach John Fox addressed whether his team was on the Vick short list on Wednesday. "I don't think we should be high on the radar, but I don't like to eliminate anything." Vick's special skills would have a place with his former NFC South rivals, but it's unlike the franchise to make such a controversial move.

Remember Michael Vick will have PETA breathing down the team that chooses him necks. There will be protest, there will be fights and there will be disagreements, can any team take the time for these problems?

Well if he returns LOOK OUT for some really big protests from all over the United States, you think this Health care is bringing out Americans; wait till Vick signs with a team, man look out.

Thanks,

Tino Patti

Packers and Vick

Can this be true, a franchise that has been looked up to for years and years in the NFL could think about having interest in Michael Vick?

The Green Bay Packers won’t rule it out, but can you see Michael Vick playing in COLD WEATHER? I can’t see it possible.

Green Bay, Wisconsin has always been in FOOTBALL the NFL place to play, and when you think of the Green Bay Packers you think of the great Bart Starr, the outstanding, Brett Favre.

Asked whether Green Bay might be interested in the scandal-tainted quarterback, general manager Ted Thompson did not rule it out.
They are not in hot pursuit of Vick, so his comments were taken like a glass of water rolling down your shirt sleeve, he was not clear on whether they were sincere and had a significant level of interest in Vick.
“What is the answer that we give to the questions like this? We’re always looking to improve our team” Thompson went on to say in a interview. “We look at all options at all times. He went on to say that he could not care to speculate in terms of the odds or the percentages of (signing Vick) or anything like that.”
Vick has been conditionally reinstated in the NFL after completing a 23 month federal sentence for running a dog fighting ring. The Commissioner said that Vick can sign with a team that wants him, and begin playing by week six of the NFL season.
More than two dozen NFL teams have said they’re NOT interested in signing the 29 year old Vick. The others have declined comment or taken a stance like that of the Packers.
.While it’s hard to imagine the Packers inviting another major distraction to training camp after enduring the circus like atmosphere of last summer’s Brett Favre unretirenent saga, the case could be made that Vick could be a valuable asset.
Green Bay has a highly regarded young starting quarterback in Aaron Rodgers, but has a pair of inexperienced second year players, Matt Flynn and Brian Brohm, backing him up Vick could bring experience to the position if there is an injury to Rodgers, who played through a significant shoulder injury to start all 16 games last season.
And while the Packers haven’t used the so-called “wildcat” formation, Vicks running ability could add a second threat to their backfield.
Vick had one of his biggest career moments in Lambeau Field, leading the Atlanta Falcons to a 27-7 playoff upset of the Packers in a wild card game on Jan. 4, 2003
I can not see a city that has such a NFL history and character, every wanting to take Michael Vick and all the troubles he will be bringing.
The Packers are known as winners, what would happen when Michael Vick was not able to throw because his hands got cold, or worse what would happen when he tried to run and scramble and he slipped on the snow, you would have a angry crowd wanting the heads of the Packers coaches as well as the top brass.

ENOUGH SAID, I don’t believe Green Bay or their fans do not need the outside interference from a Michael Vick.

Thanks
