Jimmie Johnson gives $150,000 in grant

News coming out of Charlotte, N.C. that three-time reigning NASCAR Champion Jimmie Johnson donated $150,000 in grants Monday to four Charlotte area school systems.

Now this is why NASCAR drivers are so cool, but all in all the money will be available from the Jimmie Johnson Foundation and will be available to schools in the Charlotte, Mecklenburg, Mooresville, Cabarrus County and Iredell –Statesville school systems.

The grants are a product of the Lowe’s “Toolbox for Education” is the primary sponsor of Johnson #48 Chevrolet.

This proves that Johnson is a winner on the track and off the track also, so we say Thank You, Jimmie Johnson.
